On December 10, 2008 around 2340hrs companies from the 1st, and 9th Battalions responded to the area of Conger and Van Dyke for the report of a dwelling fire. While enroute E46 reported smoke showing and that the first arriving engine would be stretching. Detroit Central Office reported that there was possibly civilians trapped in the dwelling. E46 reported that they were stretching on a 2 family flat going throughout. Upon arrival of S3 a primary search was conducted and the dwelling was clear. E9/23/46/50 L19 S3 and C1 worked for approx one hour to control this fire.
