On Friday November 6, 2008 at approx 0100 hours, companies from the 1st, 6th, and 9th Battalion were dispatched to McClellan and Gratiot for the report of a dwelling fire. Engine 46 while enroute reported that the firs Engine would stretch. Arriving on scene E46 reported 2 dwellings going throughout, they requested the 2nd Engine to dump their monitor, and requested a 4th Engine and a 2nd Truck. E23/46/50/52 L16/19 S3 and C1 worked for over an hour to bring this fire under control.
