On November 14, 2008 at 1:30pm the 9th Battalion responded to the report of a dwelling fire. Companies arrived to find a 1.5 story bungalow with fire on the upper floor and in the attic space. E60 stretched and used one attack line, while the crew of L23 performed vertical ventilation operations. E46/50/60 L23 S6 and C9 worked for over a half an hour to bring this fire under control.
